    It has been one whole year since Bristol Dropouts Fixed Gear Bike Shop opened on Stokes Croft.  To celebrate this momentous anniversary we present The B.D.O Sessions exclusively for your listening holes - a 40-track hardcore compilation from the mind / record collection of Redg Weeks.   Redg came up with the concept after spending an evening watching old-school skate videos, so you can expect some of his favourite tracks from the early-mid 80’s hardcore/punk movement, including gems from BAD BRAINS/ MISFITS/ T.S.O.L/ HUSKER DU/ THE STUPIDS and tons of others. The artwork is based on classic hardcore and skate fanzines from the 80’s and has been perfectly executed by Rosie Lea.  You can check out her art/thoughts here: www.apesex.tumblr.com & www.rosie-lea.com

    Bristol Dropouts will have been open 1 whole year in October and we thought we’d celebrate with a race, some grub and a bit of a knees up. We will kick things off at 8:00 PM on Saturday the 6th of October with a BBQ then an alley cat race around the city. After the race is done and some prizes have been dished out we can concentrate on having a drink or seven. More info will be available on www.bristoldropouts.com very soon. We hope you can make it!
